DB 101 119 Luther + Lz Wittenberg - Berlin Südkreuz + 101 - Trebbin

            In mei 2017 vond de evangelische Kirchentag in Berlijn en omstreken plaats. Dit evenement vind één keer per twee jaar plaats en trekt honderdduizende bezoekers. Omdat het in 2017 500 jaar geleden was dat Martin Luther zijn stellingen in Wittenberg aan de kerk had opgehangen, werd besloten op 28 mei een grote godsdienst in Wittenberg door te voeren. De Deutsche Bahn zorgde voor het vervoer en liet tussen Berlijn Südkreuz en Wittenberg elke 10 minuten!! een trein rijden. Deze treinen reden dan weer leeg terug om daarna weer naar Wittenberg te kunnen rijden. Één van deze lege treinen, getrokken door loc 101 119 (die met een reclame voor het 500 jarige jubileum reed) kon ik bij Trebbin fotograferen. 

Am 28. Mai 2017 war die 101 119 "500 Jahre Luther" mit einem Leerzug aus Wittenberg nach Berlin Südkreuz unterwegs. Im Rahmen des Kirchentages fuhren an dem Tag Sonderzüge im 10 Minuten-takt um die tausende Besucher des Gottesdienstes von Berlin nach Wittenberg zu bringen. Das Bild entstand bei Trebbin.

Every two years the German evangelical church assembly takes place. In 2017, this event, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors, took place in Berlin. As it was exactly 500 years ago in 2017 that Martin Luther nailed his 99 theses to the church door in Wittenberg, it was decided that a large mass was to be held in Wittenberg on May 28th. In order to get all the people from Berlin to Wittenberg, the German rail implemented a special timetable with trains running from Berlin to Wittenberg every 10 minutes. These trains would then run back to Berlin empty and subsequently head to Wittenberg again. 
One of the empty trains - hauled by engine 101 119 (which commemorates the 500 years) - was spotted with an empty train headed for Berlin near Trebbin...
