Leucistic Yellow-rumped Warbler - a photo on Flickriver

            A very lucky shot. While photographing yellow rumps I saw this flash of white that looked out of place. It turned out to be this leucistic yellow-rump/ Audubon's warbler. The bird was very shy and seemed to know it was different and perhaps more vulnerable. It took quite a while to get this capture. Las Gallinas Water Treatment Plant, Marin County
