Cannon beach tide pool - a photo on Flickriver

            Cannon beach is probably one of the most famous beach in Oregon, and the landmark there is this giant Haystack Rock. Although it is famous, I haven't had a chance to visit it until my recent road trip to Oregon Coast.

My trip schedule allowed me to stay at Cannon beach just for about 12 hours, which spanned a sunset and a sunrise. Like most people, I was wishing for great sunshine colors reflecting from clouds, but it turned out that my entire 4-day Oregon coast trip was all overcast day with 100% cloud coverage. Well, given the condition I had to change my plan to make things work.

I took two shots on this location, and this one was taken in the morning when the tide was low. The lovely tide pool even has a fur at the edge of it, and I guess that was from a sea bird.
