Datum or Neolithic Graffiti? (Explore April 26th 2020)

            Another view from the top of West Nab, Meltham, Huddersfield. Black Hill is in the distance and just visible is smoke from a moorland fire in the Chew Valley, Greenfield, Oldham. It is said that West Nab has been in use since Neolithic times and there are several interesting carvings in the rocks there. I don’t know if the carving here is quite that old, maybe much later but we’ll never know.
