                      Los Barrios es un municipio español, situado en la provincia de Cádiz, Andalucía.
Villa más rural que marinera, debe a su magnífica situación estratégica junto al Estrecho los tempranos asentamientos de culturas neolíticas (pinturas rupestres del Puerto de Bacinete y el Pajarraco), fenicios y romanos. El núcleo actual fue fundado por los antiguo habitantes de Gibraltar que fueron expulsados de la colonia en el s. XVIII. En la Plaza de la Iglesia se sitúan tres de sus edificios más emblemáticos: la Iglesia Parroquial de San Isidro Labrador, el Ayuntamiento y la Casa de los Urrutia, una bella casa señorial de estilo barroco
En su oferta de ocio tienen cabida desde su Jardín Botánico y el Parque Botánico Betty Molesworth hasta las rutas por los alrededores del municipio que permitirán visitar la Ermita y Caserío de Ojen, la Atalaya del Monte de la Torre, el Molino de los Cachones y el Puente Romano.
En el entorno de Los Barrios se suceden numerosos parajes naturales de extraordinaria singularidad y belleza. El Paraje Natural Marismas del Río Palmones posee un destacado valor como zona de descanso para miles de aves. La Montera del Torero es una mole pétrea con la caprichosa forma de una montera y que se ha constituido en un emblema de la población. A unos dieciocho kilómetros del casco urbano en dirección a Jerez se encuentra el Embalse Charco Redondo, un elegante lago artificial bordeado por montes y que cuenta con una zona recreativa.
El Arroyo del Tiradero, conserva uno de los bosques más puros y mejor conservados del Parque Natural de los Alcornocales. El Lago de Guadacorte y la playa artificial de Palmones, de aguas tranquilas, son ideales para realizar actividades deportivas y de ocio.
