A mesmerising golden orb as the sun sets over Loch Eilt on the "Road to the Isles." Inverness-shire, Scotland.

Poem.

Eyes are drawn, focused to the yellow-orange orb.
Mind numbed, lulled, captured by our glowing star.
The warm image mesmerises the eye and mind into a hypnotic state.
Anxiety and concerns momentarily banished, massaged away.

The end of a glorious day.
The sun sets on the “Road to the Isles.”
Loch Eilt brandishes the sun’s radiance.
Stillness.
An entranced gaze that lingers long after the event.
The power and magic of the image creates a kind of eternity.
