The Southern Rocky Mountains Stretching on and on Across the Colorado Landscape

            A window view I had during my flight on Alaska Airlines from Austin to Seattle this past June. What I wanted to capture with this view was the seemingly never-ending range of mountains and peaks that I enjoyed during this part of the flight. As opposed to capturing a kind of blah blue sky above or a portion of the wing for this image, I decided to work the framing such that I could later crop those two ends of the image and have the focus on these mountains and the thin wisp of clouds that were in and around them. Nearby were peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Range and Crestone Group, but looking a little further off across Colorado were the seemingly endless range of peaks of the Southern San Juan Mountains (based on GPS position and what I could gather from the peakbagger website).
