A Look to Where I Was Earlier in the Day... (Arches National Park)

            Sometimes one captures an image that has a beauty of the landscape and other times those images have a value for perspective. This is an image with both, you might say. I captured this image recalling a trip many years ago with an impressive view across the high desert landscape in Arches National Park. In my mind, I wanted to capture something similar with a sweeping view, leading off to a distant horizon. It was later when I oriented myself with a map and the azimuth that I realized I was looking to where I'd been earlier that morning as I started the hike/walk to the Delicate Arch which can be seen in the valley and wash in the a little above center and middle portion of the image with Cache Valley and then Salt Valley Wash.
