Le portail dispose d'un tympan sculpté qui développe sur trois niveaux le « mystère pascal »95, la Passion et la rédemption de l'humanité29. Le registre médian traite de la Passion au gauche et de la mise au tombeau à droite95. Le registre supérieur représente la crucifixion alors que le registre inférieur traite de la Résurrection et de l'Ascension.
