Ruins at Botallack

            After a non-starter of a sunset Dom and I headed back to the carpark so we could swing back to the pub and indulge my taste buds with a very nice cider (honestly if you're ever in Cornwall please try Sharp's Cold River Cider). As we passed this scene I glanced up and saw the clouds racing across the sky. Always partial for some cloud streaks I asked Dom if we could stop for a few moments so I could capture a shot or two. We had hoped that the pub would still be open but as we checked their website whilst this image was baking on my camera sensor we found out to my horror the pub closed at 10pm, 4 minutes before this picture was taken. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't have another drink (though when we were in the pub earlier that evening the barmaid did offer me the chance of buying a whole keg. In hindsight I should have taken her up on that offer!) but to offset my alcoholic dismay I think I captured my favourite shot from my time in Cornwall.
