Psathyrella conopilus (Fr.) A. Pearson & Dennis -Langsteelfranjehoed

            Deze zwam heeft een dieproodbruine tot okerbruine klokvormige hoed van 2 tot 5 cm breed. Ze is hygrofaan, wat betekent dat de kleur en/of de doorzichtigheid verandert naargelang van de vochtigheid. In dit geval betekent het dat de hoed bij droogte verbleekt, terwijl hij doorschijnend gestreept is in vochtige toestand.
De steel is geelwit, opvallend lang en stijf.
De langsteelfranjehoed komt voor in loofbossen, parken en tuinen op voedselrijke bodems, tussen strooisel of op takken, maar nog het meest op houtsnippers. De soort is vrij algemeen en komt vaak in grote groepen voor.
