Esta será, la última foto, que suba este año. Primero de todo, os tengo de dar las gracias, por haber visitado, mi humilde galería y por vuestros comentarios os estoy muy agradecido. Aquí tenéis, una imagen, de la Plaza Prim, lleva el nombre del general Prim nacido en Reus, el cuál fue, presidente del consejo de ministros o gobernador de Puerto Rico entre otros. Anteriormente, la plaza se la conocía, como Plaza de las Monjas, por el convento de las carmelitas, que ocupaba gran parte de la plaza. En el siglo XIX el convento, se derrumbó y en 1882, se le puso el nombre actual. Tras años de polémicas y obstáculos, se empezó a construir en 1891 el monumento, lo cual trajo cierta polémica, pues el mismo autor había realizado un monumento muy similar en Barcelona. Con toda esta polémica, estuvo a punto de no ser inaugurado, pero finalmente, en 1893, se llevo acabo la inauguración.
Detrás del monumento y de izquierda a derecha, tenemos la Casa Beringola, que fue una casa de un comerciante de Cuba, el Teatro Fortuny, del siglo XIX y el más importante de la ciudad y la casa Suqué construida por un importante fabricante de la ciudad.

Here you have, a picture, of the Prim Square, it has the name of the general Prim born in Reus, who was, president of the council of ministers or governor of Puerto Rico among others.
