Wagon Mound, New Mexico - a photo on Flickriver

            A set of semaphores stand tall in the starry night sky outside Wagon Mound, New Mexico. These signals have been standing for nearly a century and are seen in various places throughout the Raton Subdivision. Rumor says they're due to fall at any moment, but that's been a rumor for years now, so who really knows.

This hobby has taken me to some incredible places with the most beautiful scenery, and this was one of them. If you ever get a chance to be in the middle of the desert at 0100, take it because it's truly incredible.
