« Hermosa villa (...) deliciosamente ubicada en un valle pirenaico de forma triangular, recibe tres fuentes de luz. Tres grandes rayos de sol la iluminan por los huecos que dejan las tres montañas que dominan la población. Cuando los migueletes, mercenarios aragoneses, los mercantes y los contrabandistas procedentes del sur se acercaban desde la Brecha de Roldán percibían al salir de las gargantas oscuras el sol que iluminaba el valle como la puerta de un sótano asomada al exterior. Se apresuraban entonces y alcanzaban aquella preciosa villa bañada por el sol. Y la llamaron Luz… »
