840XUJ Pinewoods Holkham Estate - a photo on Flickriver

            Since the demise of the Wells Harbour Railway during 2021, Holkham Estate have introduced a seasonal shuttle bus that runs between the town and the beach, about a mile in length. Ostensibly every 20-minutes with a brand spanking new all-dancing, all-singing, all-electric Mellor Sigma 7 bus (MX22 LFV). Over the Bank Holiday and summer weekends this has been supplemented by a quite contrasting vehicle in the shape of a 1951 Leyland Tiger TS1  initially operated with a closed top Reading body on Jersey in the Channel Islands. It has since been through several hands (Guernsey bus, Lothian Mac Tours and Ensignbus), during which time it was converted to open top. Here in the new ‘bus station’ end at the town end of the route.
