Go-Ahead | LX58CWL VE2 | E400 on the 44 | 15/04/23

            Go-Ahead London operates three of these Alexander-Dennis Limited Enviro 400 Volvo B9TLs, which makes them the rarest type in London at the moment. 

They were ordered back in 2008 for Putney (AF) due to a PVR increase on the 85, but unfortunately, they weren't successful in retaining the route in 2016, which resulted in these VEs being shuffled over to Sutton (A) and allocated to the 213. 

Compared to all of the other vehicles they didn't really stray as much, but near the end of 2022 VE2/3 transferred over to Merton (AL), which makes it much easier to go after as they don't know what an allocation is there. 

So I took this perfect opportunity to get one of these in Central London.

And here we are! London General's Merton (AL) based Alexander-Dennis Limited Enviro 400 Volvo B9TL (LX58CWL VE2) is seen on the 44 heading towards the stands after finishing its journey to Victoria Station from Tooting Station.
