Lion cubs (Panthera leo) gnawing away at a buffalo carcass

            At the height of the dry season, this lion pride simply "set up shop" at a water hole and waited for the underfed, thirsty buffalo to show up, "room service" as it were.  The pride at this particular water hole were consuming two buffalo kills - hard times for the buffalo meant good times for the lions.  Sabi Sabi Game Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park, South Africa.
