Midnight Oil House # 10 - a photo on Flickriver

            This is the Midnight Oil House at Burra in South Australia.

Leading Australian landscape photographer Ken Duncan's photo of this 1920s cottage was used on the cover of Midnight Oil's 1987 album "Diesel and Dust" . . . . .Sigma 18 -200mm f3.5 -6.3 DC OS HSM

This is the 10th photo to come out of three hours spent at the house late one afternoon with another one hour first thing the next morning.
Please note that the sky in this photo was actually blue over the house and grey over the trees.

I was recently asked if I did “sky replacement” with my Midnight Oil House photos - I have never, ever used “sky replacement”.

I do not use photoshop (don't have it) and all my Flickr photos are JPEGs and my cameras are adjusted to deliver the best possible photos “in camera” before post production is carried out using Lightroom6. 
All my Flickr photos are taken with a Cir-Polarizing filter and occasionally with graduated ND filters. 
In capturing my Midnight Oil House photos, I did not use a tripod and the graduated ND filters were hand held however, I may have used a tripod (?) in the morning with photos # 7 and # 9 but again the graduated ND filters were hand held.
