TerraCycle, Gillette, and CVS donate patio furniture made of recycled materials to VA Boston Fisher House

            TerraCycle, Gillette, and CVS celebrated their donation of patio furniture made from recycled materials to the VA Boston Fisher House at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center during a ceremony June 15 at the Fisher House. The patio furniture doubles the house’s outdoor seating, allowing military and veteran families to better enjoy time outside while at the medical center to support loved ones undergoing care at the nearby hospitals. The Boston Fisher House won the patio furniture as part of a contest held by the three companies to see what community could donate the most shave care waste such as razors, a tough-to-recycle item that TerraCycle is able to turn into valuable metal products like patio furniture. Donors in the state of Vermont won the competition, but it currently has no Fisher House, so items were gifted to Fisher Houses in New York and Massachusetts.
