Meet the 'Stars of the Show' featured in the 'Double Headed Guest Engines Express Delight' image posted earlier during the Great Central Railway's (GCR) 2018 Winter Steam Gala

            Firstly on 28.1.2018, we see the two 'Resplendent Guest Engines' double head the Ex 13.35 pm 'Non Stop Express Service' to Leicester North rapidly approaching Quorn and Woodhouse Station.

Secondly on 26.1.2018, we see both engines stabled individually at Rothley Brook awaiting their next duties.

Bottom left is LMSR Hughes Fowler 1926 Designed 
5MT 'Crab' 2-6-0 No 13065.

Bottom right is LNER Gresley 1932 Rebuild of Holden Great Eastern Designed B12 4-6-0 No 8572. 

They have to be two of the most distinctively coloured locomotives I've been privileged to see when at GCR.
