Please can I stay?!! - a photo on Flickriver

            Well, I am having a mini war with Lu, the neighbour.  She is a ferocious hunter and the birds who are feeding at the bird feeders are easy prey.  Last week I saw her carry off at least 3 birds.  So now I am hassling her to leave every time I catch a glimpse of her. Her response is very mixed but often times hilarious and nearly effective.  My heart goes all soft and I laugh out loud initially especially when she throws such poses as seen in the photo but then I remember the poor little birds and I withstand her guiles and hush her out of the garden.
