"in explore" 20.3.2023 - Sunrise Swiss Alps with Cloud-UFO

            On the far left outside you see the Schreckhorn, exactly in the middle the Eiger with the famous Eiger north face. To the right of it the Mönch and to the right the Jungfrau. There the famous mountain railroad leads up and it is called "Top of Europe". 

This picture was taken on a cold January morning from my bedroom window! Yes we have a great view and every day I enjoy this view of the Alps, weather and visibility permitting. Beautiful. The Alps are about 80 kilometers away as the crow flies. But with a clear view, every detail is visible with a telephoto lens. 

Thanks to the Flickr team for including this in Explore and thanks to everyone for the likes and comments. This encourages me to keep taking good photos! Have a nice day.
