In the Spotlight - a photo on Flickriver

In the Spotlight

            There were numerous groupings of these bright yellow wildflowers on my hike last Friday, but this one stood alone with the evening sun shining on it. 

I believe it is eriophyllum lanatum (common name Oregon Sunshine) but I forgot to take a close up photo of the leaves and foliage to use for plant identification purposes so that's a best guess.
