Swamp chicken, cropped - a photo on Flickriver

            Sigma 500mm 5.6 DG DN OS Sports. The Swamp chicken (Gallinula chloropus) are also called Common moorhen and Waterhen, this one is a juvenile. I like when you can see the environment around a Bird ! Many photos of Birds, Animals and insects are cropped too much, so it could be a photo taken in a zoo. This photo image are cropped, but it is a wild Bird in the Nature. When I crop an images, I do try to not crop too much. With a group of other image of the same Bird Animal or insect at different distances, then I think it is OK to have cropped portrait photos. Do not "copy" other photographers with cropping images too much ! Very often many photographers also destroy the composition by cropping too much !
