Queensland Railways Locomotive D17 855

Wheel Arrangement 4-6-4T
Built in 1938 at the Ipswich Railway Workshops.
The D17 class locomotives were designed for Brisbane suburban passenger working. This one ran from 1938 to 1968. It seems that plans of the Rosewood Railway Museum to restore it never eventuated. It now sits on a disused track gradually being engulfed by vines.
