It is at the very slow part of the year in terms of subject matter that interest me for Macro Photography, so posts are a little slower than the usual. 

Alive , Wild and Free 

Image made in her environment, with no harm done. Sometimes we will say in-situ, which means no interference whatsoever and the image will be 100% how the subject was found.

Sometimes we will say made in environment. For me personally I will sometimes carefully encourage a spider into a position for an image for documentary purposes and with as little disturbance as possible place them back or leave them be depending on what took place. I am experienced at this and would not recommend it to a newbie.
