RFO 1830 | De Lutte [NL] | 27-04-2025

            Voor zondag 27 april werd zonnig weer voorspeld, met hier en daar een wolkje – perfect om op pad te gaan naar de lokale stek: de ingraving in De Lutte. Nadat onder andere ČDC met een Lovosice-shuttle en RFO met een Kąty-shuttle waren langsgekomen, was het de beurt aan RFO 1830 en 1837 om de fotografen te passeren.

Tot onze verbazing kwam de 1830 – met zijn fraaie Portugese kleurstelling – als losse locomotief door de ingraving gereden, richting Bad Bentheim. Al snel werd duidelijk dat de 1830 Bentheim spoedig weer zou verlaten met een bonte sleep ketelwagens.

Het is 16:49 wanneer de 1830 de hoek om komt en de ingraving stapvoets binnenrijdt, richting het stoptonende sein dat de beveiliging van Oldenzaal vormt. Gezien de lage snelheid waren de zes fotografen allemaal in staat om de locomotief tweemaal vast te leggen.
