Panorama of the Summit of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) Reflected in Llyn Teyrn, Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd, North Wales (Cymru)

            The Miners’ Track is one of two paths beginning at Pen-y-Pass. The track will take you along the shores of Llyn Teyrn, Llyn Llydaw and Glaslyn before ascending steeply to meet the Llanberis Path to the summit. The Miners’ Track was initially built to serve the Britannia Copper Mine. Remains of the mine can be seen along the route.

After parking up at the Pen-y-Pass car park (which gets very busy, very early) we started to make our way up the Miners' Track. As I was still recovering from cancer we never tried to get to the summit, but travelled as far as Llyn Llydaw in which my son and the dog had a lovely swim.

This image from next to the Miners' Track shows a view towards Mount Snowdon as it is reflected in Llyn Teyrn. To the right is the lesser peak of Y Lliwedd and to the left is Crib Goch. It was a cloudless day and the sun shone throughout.
