Schweinerei in Zons - a photo on Flickriver

            Der Schweinebrunnen in Zons gehört sicherlich zu einer der sehenswürdigen Attraktionen in der Altstadt. Zugegeben, er stammt nicht wirklich aus dem Mittelalter, sondern aus dem Jahr 1959 und wurde von dem Bildhauer Bernhard Lohf geschaffen. Der Schweinebrunnen nimmt die historische Begebenheit der sogenannten "Zonser Schweinefehde" aus dem Jahr 1575/1577 auf, in dem Soldaten des damaligen Kölner Erzbischof Salentin von Isenburg die Zonser Schweineherde, bestehend aus 50 Schweinen gestohlen hatte.
