Boddy’s Motors . Bridlington , East Yorkshire . DXC641C . Wembley Stadium Coach Park , London . Saturday afternoon 08th-May-1971 . .

            Previously at Wembley , I was in conversation with a Boddy’s Motors driver , who told me that “the Governor liked a Winter Mending Job” . Presumably to keep staff busy when there was not so many Private Hire Jobs about . Here is one such “Winter Mending job . 

DXC641C  an AEC Reliance 2MU3RA new during 1965 to Ardenvale Coaches from Knowe , with a Duple body . 

Boddy’s acquired this vehicle in 1968 , and subsequently rebodied the AEC chassis with this 1962 Plaxton Panorama body , which had previously been carried on NYA377 a 1951 Leyland Royal Tiger PSU1 / 15 chassis  which itself had been rebodied in 1962 with this Plaxton body , from its original 1951 Plaxton body .
