The current District Chief's vehicles are the first of a very different style for the C.F.D.  Beginning in 1995 the D.C. cars were painted white and 1995 was also the last purchase of automobiles for use by the District Chiefs.  After that year white SUV's were the norm for purchases through 2018.

Toward the end of 2018 six of these Ford F-150 pickups, which are 2019 model year units, were delivered.  One each was purchased for assignment to the four Districts, one to S.O. 2 (shift Safety Officer) and one for the on-call fire investigator.  The truck for the on-call investigator is painted black.  

During 2019 the plan is to purchase three additional trucks for the on-duty ALS Lieutenants along with one for training and five that will be assigned to the Chief and four of the five Assistant Chiefs.
