Steam on the Soo - sort of! - a photo on Flickriver

            I rolled the dice on Trains Magazine's Soo Line 2-8-2 1003 photo charter on Nov. 13 - after all, sunny days are mighty rare in the Midwest in November. But, as luck would have it, the only sunny day of the week was predicted for that day, and the forecasters were largely correct - although it did cloud up by later afternoon, after most run-bys were done. A few vintage cars and a vintage flagman were brought in for a run-by at Burnett - I edited out some newer cars and wires for this scene. It's on Wisconsin & Southern but is a dead ringer for somewhere on the Soo in Wisconsin the 1930s.
