A memorable shoot.

            November '86 Glen Garry. Apart from the contrasty light, what made these photos memorable to me, was that above me, a Hen Harrier was mobbing a Golden Eagle! Not a sight you often see. At first glance, I'd just assumed a kestrel and a buzzard, but as I looked closer, I recognised the pale grey of the hen harrier, with black splayed tips to it's long wings, and the scale suddenly changed! They were in the area for quite a long time. Thrilling to see, though with the landscape photo gear I had, completely impossible to capture on film.
