A stand of birches

            November '86 Glen Garry. Not far from the log cabin I was staying in, was this lovely stand of silver birch trees, right on top of a hill overlooking the loch.  It had been a wet day, (still was down the loch), but then, late in the day, the sun broke through just here.
Several variations on these birches to follow.
