Gerhard - my first Horse Love - a photo on Flickriver

            My first halfwilde mongolian horse. one have to imagine, that these horses are not really domesticated.
they live outdoors and have never seen a barn from the inside. when their owner decides to make some touristbuisness, they go and catch a horse, put a saddle and a tourist on their back.

Gerhard was not too amused about his new job.

after my first hour riding on his back, i decided to take a foto.
i wanted to take my point and shoot out of a bag and pulled the zipper. 

Gerhard was terrifyed by the sound he had never heard before, and started running like crazy.
unluckily we were in a forest and i slightly hit my head to a low hanging branch. i could hardly bring him to stop and avoid falling from his back.

i had an extreme rush of adrenalin. the mongolian horseman started to yell "no foto, no foto, this mongolian horse, half-wild horse, nooo foto!"

i was really disapointed with Gerhard, as his shyness wanted me not to allow to take fotos. there were a hand full of more situations when he went crazy with me for other reasons. 
so i was too much afraid to loose control and respected
his no-foto-policie. 

after two days, it felt unbearable for me to not take fotos while riding. So i started to stay in front of him, show him my bag and pulling the zipper on and on. many times.

he adapted to the new sound and allowed me to take fotos from his back:]
then we became big friends <3
