Waar de rest van alle getrokken treinen in NL bijna zijn uitgestorven op wat InterCity Directs na, rijden de Intercity Berlijn treinen nog steeds met NSI 1700 of soms met een Vectron als introductie voor de nachttreinen die in december geen beginnen.

Maar we dwalen af. Trein 148 vertrokken vanuit Berlijn Ostbahnhof is onderweg naar Bad Bentheim, waar de DB 101 van de trein gaat en de NSI 1700 voor de trein is gekomen en de trein verder trekt naar Amsterdam Centraal.

Om 13.28 uur passeert de NSI 1761 de omgeving van Holten en is onderweg richting Deventer en verder.
