47712 "Lady Diana Spencer" at Appleby-in-Westermorland

            47712 "Lady Diana Spencer" enters Appleby off the Warcop Branch Line with a Cheshire Rail Tours Excursion. The Warcop to Hartley Quarry section was closed in 1974 leaving just the Appleby to Warcop section open for Army traffic until 1989. A few special trains ran over the line in the early 90's and this Rail Tour is probably one of the last if not the last to do so. The line has since fallen into disuse.
