Griechenland, Greece - Insel Rhodos, Charaki, Strand und Blick auf das mittelalterliche Kastell Ferakl , 23126

            Das ehemalige Fischerdorf Charaki liegt an einer sichelförmigen Bucht. Der lange Kiesstrand des unaufgeregten Urlaubsorts wird durch eine Landzunge in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt. An der Uferpromenade sind hippe Strandbars, familienfreundliche Pizzerien und lebhafte Tavernen für Meze und Meeresfrüchte aufgereiht. Dazwischen liegen Pensionen und Ferienvillen. Von den Ruinen der mittelalterlichen Burg Feraklos führen angeblich geheime Tunnel hinunter zum Meer.
