Late Afternoon Delite - a photo on Flickriver

            Oregon's Bandon Beach is a beautiful spot to spend the early evening hours but photographing the Pacific coastline and the setting sun can be a futile exercise if you are faced with a cloudless sky. Fortunately, it is not uncommon to find banks of clouds sitting just above the horizon which will allow you to shoot directly into the face of the sun. Add an interesting foreground of sea grasses and wildflowers mixed with rolling waves and a sea set ablaze by the glare of the setting sun and, well, you can't ask for too much more...
