I was leaving my morning coffee haunt when I exchanged pleasantries with a lovely young woman who was passing by.
I continued on my way as I had an errand to run.
As I was returning from my errand there was a moment of serendipity. The lovely young woman I had seen earlier was still in the neighbourhood, I parked my car and got my camera gear ready as she approached.
Meet Pamela, I introduced myself and explained my Human Family Project. She thankfully agreed to participate in my project.

The Human Family Project is about people and their stories, Pamela has a wonderful story. First her name, she told me that most people she meets in Canada consider her name old fashioned. I explained when I was at school in the U.K. there were lots of Pamela's in the school, consider it a traditional name I added. She told me that Pamela is a very popular woman's name in her native Argentina.
Pamela has been in Canada almost two years, she came here to marry her fiancé who is from Quebec.
Pamela is from Mendoza Argentina, which is the capital city of Mendoza Province and the heart of Argentina's wine country, it is famous for it bold red wines and Malbecs. Argentina is the worlds 5th largest wine producer.
A lover of wine Pamela worked in wineries in Mendoza, she was a tour guide and conducted information sessions, in fact that is how she met her future husband. He loved her tours so much he married her!!
Pamela is currently enrolled in the Sommelier course at Ottawa's Algonquin College. This accreditation will certainly help her in her quest to work full time as a Sommelier.
An interesting twist to Pamela's story is that her In-Laws own and operate a cheese business in New Brunswick, one of Canada's Maritime Provinces. They both produce and sell their Artisan cheese. Now there's a marriage made in heaven Wine & Cheese!!!
