Grand Island Harbor - a photo on Flickriver

            Grand Island Harbor is one of the deepest and largest harbors on any of the Great Lakes.  Undoubtedly, it is probably also one of the most beautiful. The waters in this picture range from 60 to 101 feet (18-31m) in depth.

The rugged, forested Grand Island in the picture is at the left of the horizon. In the distance, at the right, is Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, on the southern shore of Lake Superior.
