The lesson - a photo on Flickriver

The lesson

            Girlfriends had me watch a video on "The Feminine Walk".  Since I could barely stand up on my four inch heels which were encasing my sparkling toes lathered in baby pink nail polish, I watched the first half of the video on my knees.  After a minor wardrobe adjustment, my first small steps were taken with my chest and chin held high.  Holding my small purse that held all my makeup, I strutted across the room, swaying my hips while listening to the sound of my high heels clicking on the hardwood floor.  After and hour or so of practice, one of the girls then opened my purse and took out my sparkling red lip gloss and lash curler.  Two swipes of the gloss over my lips and some light work on my lashes and we were ready.  The night already seemed so long, and yet, was still so young.
