I’m Next in the Queue! - a photo on Flickriver

            I quite like swans - very graceful as they glide almost effortlessly across the water but on land they are the opposite - every step looks clumsy and seems to take a lot of effort. 

Captured this on a recent visit to the quay in Lymington where this one was looking through the window of a coffee shop then waddled along to the door and looked in. Eventually, he/she went inside but it wasn’t long before a member of staff encouraged it out and across the road to a relatively safe place using some food. Given that swans can sometimes be bad tempered and aggressive the young lady staff member was the heroine of the hour.
