Reflections *

            These houseboats are some of many moored on a closed section of the Chichester Canal running alongside Chichester Marina in West Sussex. 

I have not visited the location for a few years and was surprised how overgrown it has become. Perhaps it is the time of year, the hot summer we have been through or the drought conditions we have experienced or perhaps a combination of all three! Whatever the case, there are signs of normality in that nature is sending subtle signals that winter is approaching and hence the trees and other bushes are showing small colour changes as they prepare to shut down.
