The Cody Glider

Today's Story and sketch "by me", Is the true Story, and History of the Buffalo, and how the Great Plains,
became so great. And it all began when our little grey alien Cody Gofish, first came to earth, so many, many,
centuries ago, Cody was looking for a spot to raise his prized buffalo herd, here on Earth. First Cody
finally after many, many years of applying, and submitting numerous business plans, and dozens of moon pie
variations, he finally got it just right, and was granted the SBA (small business alien) loan, he needed.
His quest for greatness started small, in his Bison Crater Valley home, where he developed a wonderful
creamy filling for his own brand of Moon Pie, the Bison Moon Pie. But Cody had a small problem, his herd
of buffalo was to small, and he could not supply the Galaxy with Bison Moon Pies.
Cody had limited space in his crater valley, and was limited to a few thousand
head of Buffalo. When Cody finally got through the regulatory hurdles to develop the middle of the North
American Continent, he began by doing a fly over the first year, seeding the vast plains with yellowy grass
seeds, then in year two he brought in most of his heard of Buffalo, that same year he was walking through
a big field of tall grass, as he was only four foot tall, a young Shoshone Indian Princess, named Ami nearly
stepped on Cody. She being the daughter of Chief Pocatello, was actually looking for a husband at the time,
and was pissed at her dad the chief, who wanted to marry her off to a dude named tail of the rabbit.
And not only was he a wimp, with a wimpy name, he was extremely boring, had bad make up, and was a
crappy dancer. Ami thought Cody was a gift from the Sky Gods to have brought Cody, the new buffalo herds,
the yellowy grass, and when he handed Ami a Bison Moon Pie, in gratitude for not stepping on him, the deal
was consummated right there. She and Cody were wed with the Chiefs blessing, of course he thought it was cool
having a little grey sky person, as a son inlaw. And what you see in this sketch is a monument to his long
ago lost wife and extended family, it is the "Shoshone River Resort", as he is gliding back into the Town
