Malakowturm der Zeche Fürst Hardenberg

            Von der Zeche Fürst Hardenberg sind die Maschinenhalle sowie der Malakowturm von 1876 erhalten, der zu den 14 erhaltenen Beispielen im Ruhrgebiet zählt. Die Architektur des 32 Meter hohen Ziegelbaus mit stark vorspringenden Strebepfeilern erinnert an eine trutzige Festung. Das Sockelgeschoss des historistischen Gebäudes wurde Anfang der 1930er Jahre durch einen bis heute erhaltenen Anbau in expressionistischer Formensprache erweitert.
