ZULU, then and now. - a photo on Flickriver

In 1964, film director Cy Endfield shot the exterior locations in the mountainous Drakensberg National Park for the epic war film Zulu, starring Michael Caine and Stanley Baker. In 2010, purely by chance, I took this shot which is almost identical to the camera position when Stanley Baker is gathering up the Zulu shields after the battle. All I had to do was move a little to the left and a little further back to make it so.
