Silent Storm Series - a photo on Flickriver

            My Silent Storm series captures scenes of New York City during 2020. As in other cities and towns across the globe, things are not the same. People are coping as best they can and doing what needs to be done in hopes of getting through the COVID-19 pandemic. But right now my town is a lonely town. Shuttered shops. Abandoned avenues. Masked people walking alone. The shadows at noon seem deeper. One store sign proclaimed, "We will be back" And we will. In the meantime, we look for a way to try and make sense of all this. This series is my way.
