Autodeterminació, 45 anys d'espera.

L'antiga colònia espanyola del Sàhara, que va ser considerada la 53 província d'Espanya, va ser lliurada al Marroc de manera ignominiosa el novembre del 1975, aviat farà 45 anys.
Hassan II, hàbil i despietat, va saber aprofitar l'agonia de Franco i la por de les autoritats de Madrid, amb Joan Carles de Borbó al davant.
En va tenir prou amb la mobilització de la Marxa Verda per espantar l'estat espanyol, que va signar els Acords de Madrid i se'n va anar deixant els sahrauis sols a mercè de Rabat.

The former Spanish colony of the Sahara, which was considered the 53rd province of Spain, was handed over to Morocco ignominiously in November 1975, soon to be 45 years old.
Hassan II, skilful and ruthless, knew how to take advantage of Franco's agony and the fear of the Madrid authorities, with Joan Carles de Borbón in front.
It was enough with the mobilization of the Green March to scare the Spanish state, which signed the Madrid Agreements and left the Sahrawis alone at the mercy of Rabat.
