Art in Venice Beach - a photo on Flickriver

            I last visited Venice Beach about 20 years ago and thought it was a cool place. Times have changed. I went back after WonderCon and noticed it's really gone downhill. The first thing was the smell of urine everywhere. Homeless people lined most of the walkway; there were shady drug deals going on in the open and I had to walk around several people being arrested by the cops. People watching was so-so. The main reason for my visit was to check out the murals and wall art. There were a bunch of cool paintings but I'm not sure I would make a special trip back there again.
